Well, I have purchased the original and android versions for now. I will wait for the recharged until my flying ability warrants needing another version. LOL.

I have a couple of other suggestions/ideas for you though.

What about a mode switch for those that use rc controllers to be able to switch modes (acro/level flight/3D) with a physical switch/channel on our RC Tx's?

What about your/our ability to add different scenes to the list, like addons that we could buy seperately to build a setup with the scenes that we would like, that would keep the main program at it's original size, and the scenes are addons that make it as small or large as we want it to be?

I think with the price of drones etc these days, everyone can afford Freerider, it is a small price to pay for anything these days, and compared to other sims like (f** event), it's damn near free...And a major bonus with yours is, you can run it on an older pc without the need for heavy graphics cards etc, like the aforementioned sim. If you have seen that one, a nice neon lighted night flight scene would be nice to have in FR also.

Just some more random ideas to think about.

Great thanks, I ended up making a UnoJoy adaptor as I didn't have the ProMicro, it uses the Arduino UNO with the bootloader flashed in DFU mode, and works well. I had a couple micro's arrive yesterday and got to work on yours also to compare.

Yours took a little more to get it to work and calibrated (more driver issues than anything... Win 10), but I managed it and it works quite well. If you attach the positive power from the receiver (+) to the high side of the fuse just above the USB port, you can do away with the extra USB plug that you are using to power the Rx, I have done it, and it works well so far. All you are doing is powering the proMicro and the RX off your PC USB port, nothing it can't handle if you don't try and power servos or anything. ;-)

Anyway, Just thought I'd share that with you, and thank you for your plans, it works very well. Great work.

I just bought Freerider before I knew that Freerider Recharged existed, also found that it was available for Android phones etc. Is there any chance you would be considering bundling all versions for one price? It would be great to be able to use all full versions for one price instead of paying for each one individually.

I have built a small arduino powered RC- Rx /USB interface for my laptop, so I can use my Tx wireless, now find it works on my tablet, tv box and smart phone w/VR headset, but only have the full version for the windoze. Great game/training by the way, my flying has improved considerably since using FPV Freerider, I recommend it to everyone that doesn't want to crash their drone non stop. ;-)

Just a little food for thought...

Excellent, but how does it communicate to the USB? there are only 2 wires to the usb connector Gnd and Vcc. Am I missing something or do you use the USB from the pro micro also?

Thanks in advance.
